We’d like to introduce our newest family member at Kackleberry Farm! Petunia is the offspring of Babe and Porkchop, our two pot-bellied pigs. Petunia is about the size of an adult hand and is two weeks old. She’s ruling the roost right now on the farm!

CSRA’s Corn Maze Design - The Secret’s Out!

That’s right! The chickens have spread the news! The question is: ARE YOU CHICKEN?

Well, are you? Let’s see! The design this year features a chicken, sponsor logos: WBBQ, MCG Health, and Augusta Chronicle…and of course, the question - ARE YOU CHICKEN to go through the maze at Kackleberry Farm. This seven acre corn field will be quite the challenge. We’ll see who’s got what it takes to complete both phases and ring ‘Ole Victory Bell’!

CSRA/Augusta Corn Maze Fall Season

Dates have been officially set for the 2008 Fall Season at Kackleberry Farm. We open Saturday, September 20 and are open every Saturday and Sunday through November 2, 2008. Pumpkin Patch

We have big pumpkins, little pumpkins, bright orange pumpkins, pale orange pumpkins, round pumpkins, oval pumpkins, pumpkins to carve and pumpkins to eat! Whatever you are looking for, we have it! Just another fun family experience at Kackleberry Farm!

Augusta Area Corn Maze

In its second year, Kackleberry Farm hosts the first Augusta area corn maze. We have had visitors from all over, even traveling from Warner Robins just to navigate through the seven acre corn maze. It’s such a fun adventure for young and young-at-heart alike! Last year’s design featured a barn and wind mill. This year’s image is still in the works but will be even more challenging and fun! We are adding attractions daily, including some obstacles inside the maze. What’s more fun than a family outing in which you actually tell your kids to “get lost” and you do it WITH them? Don’t be chicken - come visit the original CSRA corn maze!

It’s drawing closer and closer to opening day of our Fall Season 2008 at Kackleberry Farm and the CSRA’s First Corn Maze! As always, there’s a lot of “hub bub” on the farm and the excitement is growing over this year’s maze design. There was some kind of image in the chicken scratch the other day…are we getting a message from the chicks? Only time will tell!!!

There’s a lot of kackling going on in the chicken coup about this year’s maze design. Now, we haven’t heard anything official from Shotgun, Cornelius, and the others, but all of the hens are in an uproar about what the maze is going to look like. One of them said it has something to do with them but we just aren’t sure! What in the kackleberry could it be? Check back soon for more details!
