At the beginning of your visit, you have the option of taking a “map”. There are questions in the maze. If you answer the questions correctly in the maze, it will help you make your way through the maze or you can use the map.We also have corn cops to help you find your way.

aLeafAbout the Mazes

Is the maze wheelchair friendly?
Yes. Please call or check our website before visiting the maze to get current maze conditions.Handicapped portable toilet facilities are available.

At what time of the day do you close the maze?
Please see the hours section of our website. The maze will remain open until 11:00 p.m. most days. Last ticket is sold at 9:00 p.m. most days. See details on Plan a Visit for all details and times.

How long does it take to walk the maze?
The average time is 30 minutes to 1 hour. We have three mazes and you may visit all three as many times as you would like. They are all at different levels for you to enjoy. We have Flashlight Nights at dark that are so much fun! You will be in the mazes with just your flashlights or glow sticks. Flashlight or glow sticks required for each pair of visitors.

Is the maze lighted at night?
No. Please bring your own flashlight or rent one of our flashlights. You need a source of light to navigate through the maze because reading is required to find the correct pathways within the maze. Every two persons must have to have a flashlight to go into the maze.

How do you make the maze?
It takes lots of practice and patience! Our particular method of designing the maze is a trade secret, but we can tell you that we plant the whole field in late May and then take out the design when the plants are very short. The design is created on a computer and then transferred into the maze acreage.

How big is the maze?
Our cornfield is 10.5 acres. It is divided into three mazes for ease of navigation for the very directionally challenged! The smallest is the Learning Maze the medium maze is a little harder and large maze is the hardest maze of all.

Do we have Trick or Treat days?
Yes, the focus for our fall maze is fun for the whole family. We offer a Trick or Treat Weekend, please see our schedule on the calendar. These activities are for children 11 and under, in full costume only.
